Technical Program Awards
The ESW has a process to choose prize conference technical papers. The papers are judged on a combination of the written paper and oral presentation at the ESW. A list of technical program awards can be downloaded (PDF).

Outgoing Chair Recognition
Organizing the ESW requires a significant amount of work by the ESW Organizing Committee. The annual ESW Chair has the responsibility to lead this effort. Recognition is provided each year for the outgoing ESW Chair.

Electrical Safety Committee Awards
The Electrical Safety Committee has several awards that are presented during the Electrical Safety Workshop. Below is a list and description of those awards. For more information, see the Awards and Recognition page of the Electrical Safety Committee website.
William C. Jordan Award
The William C. Jordan Award is an Electrical Safety Committee award that recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding service and dedication to the mission and strategies of the Electrical Safety Workshop and Electrical Safety Committee. The William C. Jordan Award is not considered an annual award and will be given only at times when it is determined that an individual clearly has met, or exceeded the award criteria. The William C. Jordan Award is the highest level award presented by the Electrical Safety Committee.
Outstanding Service Award
The Outstanding Service Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding administrative leadership and contributions in support of the Electrical Safety Committee, including activities of any of its subcommittees.
Excellence in Prevention through Design Technical Award
The Excellence in Prevention through Design Technical Award recognizes an individual's leadership and contributions in activities of the Electrical Safety Committee that serve to advance engineering technology solutions impacting electrical safety.
