IEEE Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) is an IEEE society focusing on members who have received their undergraduate degree within the last decade. All IEEE members meeting this condition are members of GOLD. No special registration is required. This webpage contains information regarding the Boston chapter of IEEE GOLD.

GOLD events are focused in several areas.

• Issues for recent graduates: first time home buying, investing, career decisions
• Socializing/networking: bowling, paintball, skiing
• Technical: lab tours, technical talks

IEEE in general provides users with many benefits as well.

Boston GOLD will not turn down any member at an event based on their distance and anyone is welcome to join our email list. The chapter plans events throughout the year in different parts of the city so that members from all around the Boston area can easily attend a few events every year. We target members who live roughly within one hour driving distance of the city. This includes MA residents from Boston to Worcester and from Taunton, MA to Nashua, NH. Some of these members also receive event notifications from other sections.
