A meeting of the IEEE Buffalo Section Board was held at the Eagle House Restaurant,  in Williamsville, N.Y., on Thursday, January 10, 2012, at 6:30 p.m.

The scheduled Board meeting included the Officer Installation Dinner.
Developments in the Buffalo Section’s Balance Sheet:
The Treasurer reported on outstanding invoices paid in December 2012.
By motion, the Chair proposed the Board recognize the Committee Director of Engineering Management for last year’s voluntary contributions, and the Secretary for last year’s development of online social networks.
By motion, the Chair proposed a new schedule of Buffalo Section meetings at Davis Hall, SUNY University At Buffalo. (Judith M. Moskal and Ashish Shah)
The Vice Chair reported on the joint Buffalo Section and Niagara Frontier Technical Societies Council (TSC) archives held in storage at SUNY University At Buffalo.
The Vice Chair reported on TSC meetings scheduled for the first quarter of 2013.
The Chair requested information on the speaker for Student Night, scheduled for February 2013. (Jennifer L. Zirnheld and Ashish Shah)
