Senior Electrical Engineer

We are a consulting firm, and as part of our work with our current client, are helping them identify a very Senior Electrical Engineer with a manufacturing engineering background.

Our client is booming despite today’s odd economy, are up almost 20% this year and has grown from less than $25-million to over $100-million in the past 10 years. They make complex, high end electronic components ($2,000 for a component twice the size of your finger).

This person will be the lead electrical engineer in their manufacturing engineering group, which is made up of 15 engineers. This person will need to be both hands-on and be able to lead projects. He or she should have strong electrical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot to the board- and component-level. As well, this engineer should also have had solid manufacturing experience, including having used some systems to identify root cause to diagnose and prevent problems (Six-Sigma experience would be ideal).

The company is located in Hanover , New Hampshire , next to Dartmouth College . Being home to a top college and medical school, the populace is well-educated and the area has numerous cultural, academic and major college sporting events. The area is also surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, and is close to skiing and endless outdoor opportunities.

The position will pay in the $80,000 to $120,000 range, plus a 7% bonus.
