Research & Development Engineer in Signal and Image Processing

Lickenbrock Technologies, LLC located in the Rensselaer Technical Park in Troy, NY has an immediate full-time opening for the right person with a PhD or Masters in EE to be involved with entire product research and development cycle for biomedical, industrial and military image processing applications.  Responsibilities will include defining imaging problems, developing and implementing robust algorithms, and supporting interface design and product delivery. Specifically, the job entails inverse-problems, maximum likelihood estimation, optimization methods, iterative algorithms, automated segmentation and feature extraction, and many other aspects of advanced image processing. 

Job requirements:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering
• Expert knowledge of Signal / Image Processing
• At least 2-5 years industry experience
• Advanced experience with C++, and basic knowledge of Matlab
• US citizenship or permanent residency
