Year 2004 Prof K Shankar Student Paper & Project Contest

There is a wonderful opportunity for you to visit Hongkong! One student from Pune and one student from Mumbai will be sponsored by the Bombay Section to Participate in R-10 students meet in June. All you have to do is to participate in the K Shankar paper and Project competition and secure a first place. The Bombay Section will bear the cost of these two students for the above visit to Hongkong. Submit your papers and/or project ideas for this contest.

  General  Information

1.Typing should be on one side of the A/4 size paper in double spacing.
2. Paper/Project idea should not have won a prize at any earlier contest.
3. Use of overhead /slide projector is permitted during presentation.
4. 25 minutes are allowed for presentation. ( 15 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for question-answer session.)
5. Participating students are required to submit a bonafide certificate from the Principal of his/her college.
6. Last Date for Entries for Both Events:
   Monday ,8th March 2004
7. Date of presentation :
   Saturday, 20th MARCH 2004  
   at Sardar Patel College of Engg., 
   from   10.30 a.m. onwards.
Atleast the first student must be IEEE Student Member

Students Paper Contest
A technical paper contest for the students, encouraging them to gain in-depth knowledge of subjects of their interest, in the fields of Electrical and Electronics Engg. or allied fields.

Guidelines:

  • In-depth knowledge of the subject is expected.
  • Paper should be 10 pages or 2500 words, whichever is less.
  • Submit 3 hard copies and one soft copy of Paper.
Format:
Each paper must include :
1. Title of the paper, Name(s) of student(s), their classes, their residential address and telephone numbers & college/institute address on  a separate sheet.
2. Abstract, Introduction, Main body of the paper, Conclusion, References.
3. Author(s) bio-data alongwith their residential address, telephone nos. and Email address on  a separate sheet.

Students Project Contest
A project contest for the students, to endeavour into the practical implementation of newly developed plans and ideas in the fields of Electrical and Electronics Engg. or allied fields.

Guidelines

  • In-depth knowledge of the Project Idea is expected.
  • Paper should be 10 pages or 2500 words, whichever is less.
  • Submit 3 hard copies and one soft copy of  Project Idea.
Format:
Each Project Idea must include :
1. Title of the project, Name(s) of student(s), their classes, their residential address and telephone numbers & college/institute address on a separate sheet.
2. Abstract, Introduction, Main body of the paper, Conclusion, References.
3. Author(s) bio-data alongwith their residential address, telephone nos. and Email address on  a separate sheet.
