Dear Dr. Reddy,
I have been toying with the idea of sending this mail to you for some days. I want to congratulate you for making Mumbai center proud by getting it a building. You would perhaps not know that as a Zonal Coordinator I had got Rs. 1 crores earmarked for getting a building for Mumbai. I had taken the IETE President, Dr KK Agrawal, to meet Inst of Engineers President at Kolkata for getting his approval to build over their building. I had later made Gen DP Sehgal, then President to meet MTNL for getting a land. Many plans were prepared including buying property at Bandra Kurla Complex.
Hence, I am indeed happy that my long felt wish has been made into a reality. Congratulations to you. But I also have a complaint. The invitation card for the function reached me 4 days after the function. Even though I am not in the Council, I would have come to witness this glorious moment by spending out of my pocket. Congratulations once again
