Technology Day - Sept 5th and 8th comprises of technical paper presentations and a hardware design contest.
The industrial tour to Pune and Narayangaon organized by IEEE-VESIT in the third week of September will consist of visiting CDAC, GMRT and Telco's automated manufacturing plant.
Distinguished guest speakers from the industry as well as academia, are to deliver lectures in the next two weeks: Avionics, ERP etc. The mathematics club intended to generate interest among the students in pure and computational mathematics will be launched this month with many fanfares.
VISTAS - the astronomy club would be organizing a lecture on basic astronomy.
On 28th August, Mr.Anil Kakodkar, the present Director of BARC delivered a lecture elaborating issues like computer simulation of nuclear tests, use of nuclear energy in the near future.

IEEE-FRCR Student Branch arranged a General and Logic Quiz on 29th August.
On 2nd September a seminar on Fiber Optics was delivered, where the speaker was Miss. Paula Mariwala of the IEE (Institute of Electronics Engineers).

The Biomedical Chapter is organizing a seminar on Lasers and Medicine and is working towards the release of their newsletter -BIOSCOPE.
The Industrial Electronics Chapter is conducting a workshop on Digital Sound Engineering and a Multimedia workshop is also on the cards.
