Chairperson's Address:

Dear Members,
I am indeed very happy to address all
of you through this first issue of the
news letter.  A few months back when I 
was discussing with Bhavin Shah and we 
struck upon the idea of having a joint 
newsletter. This newsletter could act 
as an  vehicle through which the 
students of various colleges could 
interact and exchange ideas with one 
another.We would also mail this
newsletter to the IEEE Bombay Section 
Members so that they are kept updated 
about the student activities and other 
events. Eventually, we also put this on 
our Web Site.This year the  Bombay 
Section has taken the initiative to help 
the IEEE student members  organize as 
many events as possible.We have specially
earmarked some funds for this purpose,
and we would be more than happy to give
you these funds for the right cause. So
please do come forward with a proposal and 
take the benefit.  We have also taken the 
task of having more Student branches opened 
and I am glad that TSEC students are making 
this happen. 
As per our practice we shall also have our 
Annual Student Paper and Project Contest 
sometime in Mar/April. We shall let you know 
the details later on.
I would like to take this opportunity to 
thank Bhavin, Ganesh, Govind, Vikram and 
other members of the editorial board for 
their efforts in making this Newsletter a 
reality.
