IEEE Hyderabad Section recognizes the need to promote and support the younger generation in its quest for entering a career in Electrical Engineering and allied disciplines. The Section extends its support and assistance to the student community with help of Student Activity Committee.

1. All India Student Project Contest 2009 at Hyderabad

The help from Section to the Student Branches comes in the following forms:

• Visits by members: The Section encourages visits by its members to Student Branches.

• Student Contests: Every year, since 1990, the Hyderabad Section conducts a Student Paper Contest to bring out the hidden potential of our Student Members.

• Organizational assistance: Startup, technical assistance, coordination, seed money and subsidy, on a case-to-case basis.

• Section Student Congress: It is a student Congress for IEEE student members  from student brances that come under IEEE Hyderabad Section. In addition to several technology and management related talks by eminent experts, the congress will give an opportunity to various IEEE student branches to present a report of their activities.
