2009 marks the 125 years of IEEE's contribution in promotion of science and technology in the world. Today, Today, IEEE stands out as the world's largest and most vibrant professional society.

May 13 is the official IEEE Anniversary date. IEEE Islamabad Section is part of the IEEE celebrations. Various societies and Student branches under Islamabad will also be celebrating the 125 years celebrations.
