RE:  IEEE Web Account Protection to be Applied to On-Line Officer Reporting Form

In recent months, the on-line officer reporting form ( http://ewh.ieee.org/forms/scs/interactofficer.php ) has been inundated with an inordinate amount of junk information via spambots. The easiest solution to curb this unsolicited information is to restrict access to the officer reporting form by the use of an IEEE web account. Starting 9 October an IEEE web account will be required to access the officer reporting form to report new officers or officer changes.

An announcement has been distributed to the MGA Board and Region Director-Elects and an announcement will be posted to the on-line officer reporting form.
