K.V. Rupchand is a Senior Member of the IEEE and was Chief Engineer of TamilNadu Electricity Board (now Retd.).

His professional affiliations include Fellow of Institution of Engineers,, FIV, FICI, FIIBE, FIITA, FIWWA, MISRMTT, MIIPA, MNIQR, MICFRC, C.Eng., P.Eng

He has had a long and distinguished career in the TamilNadu Electricity Board for over 38 years where he retired as Chief Engineer - Civil Designs.

He holds an MSc (Engg) Hons degree and a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
