Submission of Camera-ready Papers to INDICON 2008

All papers must be written in English and should describe original work. The length of the paper is limited to a maximum of 6 pages. All papers must be submitted electronically through online web submission or e-mailed to indicon@iitk.ac.in

Steps of Camera-ready Paper Submission:

1. Prepare your manuscript in IEEE conference double column format (in the standard IEEE conference double column format), including figures, tables and references. The basic MS Word template and guidelines are given here in a sample paper available for download sample_ieee.doc . The length of the paper should be strictly limited to 6 pages. Over-length papers will not be included in the conference proceedings.

The appropriate copyright notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding

For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, Australia), the notice is: 978-1-4244-2746-8/08/$25.00 ©2008 Crown

For all other papers the notice is: 978-1-4244-2746-8/08/$25.00 © 2008 IEEE

2. All camera-ready papers submitted to INDICON should be IEEEXplore compatible. For this the authors should convert their source file to pdf or check their pdf file using IEEE PDF Express, a freely available resource at IEEE. INDICON 2008 has been registered for the use of IEEE PDF Express by all the authors of INDICON 2008 papers. The instructions how to use IEEE PDF Express is given in the file available for download IEEE PDF eXpress Instructions.pdf.

3. After successful generation of IEEEXplore compatible pdf file, the pdf file can be uploaded through online web submission or e-mailed to indicon@iitk.ac.in

4. The authors need to submit IEEE copyright form along with their camera-ready paper. The doc file of the copyright form is available here for download (IEEE copyright form.doc) IEEE copyright form.doc. The authors should send the pdf file of the copyright form with signature to indicon@iitk.ac.in. The paper will not be included in the proceeding unless the duly signed copyright form is received.

The camera-ready papers with copyright form must be received by INDICON 2008 by 25th October 2008.

Duly filled registration form with the registration fee for atleast one author should be sent by post so as to reach INDICON 2008 by 31st October 2008.
