IEEE ANNAPOLIS SUBSECTION Meeting Announcement LECTURE NIGHT When: 1830 Thursday, 26 January 2006 Where: Maury 226 (conference room) Who: Capt Currier What: Marine Corps Data Networks Capt Budge Currier, 20+ years of Marines Corps Service. Experience as enlisted Marine in Main Frame Computers as operator, data control technician, network control, and programming. As Marine Corps Officer served as Communication Officer in support of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. Planned, installed, operated and maintained complex communication networks that included VHF and UHF single channel radio, Multi-Channel radio, digital telephone switching networks, fiber optic networks, and data networks (LAN, MAN, WAN). NOTE: If you do not have a Dod pass, due to Security Regulations we are planning to pick up attendees at Gate #1 at 6:15PM and you will be escorted to the Meeting site by Naval Academy personnel. Please plan to arrive for pick up and escort between 6:00PM and 6:15PM. Metered Public Parking nearby at the Annapolis Dock area is convenient to Gate #1. If the security regulations change more detailed Instructions will be emailed about a week prior to our meeting date. Attendees: please email your intention to attend to both: ncastiglia-at-ieee.org or dboyd-at-ieee.org ASAP so we can get a rough headcount and cover any potential security concerns. Notice: We are looking for some interested folks to join us on the officers committee.
