Basic Web Page Design Course

IEEE and the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) jointly present a one-day workshop


Who should attend: The workshop content is designed for the students with very little or no prior knowledge of Web Page Design.

What will be taught: This hands-on workshop guides you in the bare bones basics of Web Page Design. After completing this workshop, you should be able to understand the basic elements, presentation formatting, linking, special features, web page layout, Do's and Don’ts, and much more. After this workshop you should be able to design or improve your first web page or make better decisions if you hire the work out to others.

Instructor: The course will be taught by a UMUC Instructor who has taught web page design courses at UMUC for several years and is a practicing professional web consultant. The university will issue a certificate of completion.

When: 8:30 to 5:30 Saturday, 24 June 2000

Where: Computer Lab 0123, University of Maryland University College (UMUC) Conference Center, College Park, MD

How Much: Fee: $125 for IEEE members; $175 for Non-members-- $50 will be applied towards the course if you join the IEEE

Deadline: 5 PM, Tuesday, June 20. Class size is limited to 50. Late registrations may be accepted only if openings exist.
