National Capital Area Awards Banquet
The annual National Capital Area Awards Banquet will be held May 19 at the Fair Oaks Marriott. Registration is under way here. Get your seat early at the special $25 member price (get one for your guest, too). You may also pre-purchase raffle tickets and order patron packages with a lot of nice perks, such as mention in the banquet program. This year's banquet will feature a record number of science fair exhibits and competition robots, as well as great entertainment and a professional photographer. Where else can you and your guest enjoy a fine meal, have your picture taken, converse with a Nobel Laureate, see robots play basketball, ponder "the history of the universe from beginning to end," dance to swing music, and applaud the achievements of our IEEE volunteers (like you) who bring opportunities like this to our members all the time?
