IEEE AESS Dayton Chapter

After several years of the Dayton Chapter being deactivated, it is alive and back in full swing! With a thriving aerospace and electronics community in Dayton we expect to make this one of the largest and most active chapters in the country! Of course the only way to do this is with the support of local business, academia, and AESS members. So if your excited to be part of the resurgence of the AESS Dayton Chapter, swing over to the Chapter Documents page ( or the IEEE website ) for a membership application!

Keep this site bookmarked so you can keep an eye out for our upcoming meetings ( posted on the Schedule page ) . We will be trying to bring a featured speaker presentation to the Dayton Chapter every 1 to 2 months.

For comments and suggestions, please see the Contact Information page.

We are always looking for future technical presenter suggestions!

Welcome to the AESS Dayton Chapter!

Title: Imaging moving objects in the presence of a horizontal reflector

Abstract: ... Over-the-horizon radar uses reflections of electromagnetic radiation off of the ionosphere to extend range of detection. Current systems use a system of nearly co-located transmitters and receivers to produce low-resolution images. Better resolution could potentially be obtained from multiple input/output imaging systems.....
