Abstract
The IEEE Melbourne and Canaveral Sections want to help their membership find and/or maintain a rewarding career in electrical/electronic engineering. In particular, the Sections want to be a value-added resource for its membership during these particularly tough economic times.
The Sections have recently become aware of a number of career management resources available from IEEE-USA. The Sections also have some local resources that can be used in the career management process. We not only want to make our membership aware of these resources, we want to work together as an organized body to integrate these resources in a way that maximizes their usefulness.
With that goal in mind, the purpose of these meetings is to initiate a series of meetings aimed at helping member of the local engineering community manage their careers and build a viable professional network.
