Koepfinger, IEEE Emeritus and
Standards Board Member of the IEEE Standard P1547.6 Draft Recommended Practice
for Interconnecting Distributed Resources (DR) will make a presentation on Distributed Energy Resources including Wind and Solar
Technologies. The talk touches on a comparison of DR
technologies and the use of distribution automation and the impact of new
transportation technologies such as electric vehicles. It includes the
evolution of the electric utility industry and evolving application of new
technologies such as DR in a changing electric utility environment. And will
address the integration and operational issues that have to be considered today
and in the future. Cost of the lunch will be $10 members, $5 for student members. Please RSVP to Lynwood
