The 2006 IEEE-USA Leadership Workshop was held in St Louis, Missouri. Various delegates from the various regions attended including representatives from the East Tennessee Section.

There were two separate Region 3 meetings for PACE delegates from each
section in Region 3. They developed goals and plans, with the other regions,
for continuing IEEE-USA initiatives. The East Tennessee Section had
representation, and participated.

Adeeb Hamzey, Region 3 PACE Chair, conducts meeting for
Region 3 delegates. There are 41 sections in 9 areas, representing Region 3.

Ron Hira was part of a panel presenting a forum on the "Effects of
Globalization" at the IEEE-USA Leadership Workshop. This was just one of the
many informative and interesting forums conducted at the IEEE-USA Leadership
Workshop in St Louis, MO.
