Principles of IEEE Financial Operation

1. IEEE provides general liability and property damage insurance to cover its organizational units, conferences and other sponsored activities. IEEE Volunteers are included as additional insureds under the IEEE policy.
    
2. IEEE also maintains fidelity bond coverage of $1,000,000 for those individuals (staff or volunteer officers) who have access to funds.
    
3. The fidelity bond coverage applies only to funds under the exclusive control of IEEE staff or volunteers. The coverage does not apply to funds held jointly by IEEE and any other entity.
