Responsibility and Functions of an IEEE Section Treasurer

  1. On 25 June 2000 the IEEE Board of Directors decided that all geographic units and conference investments are to be in the IEEE Investment Funds.
     
  2. The IEEE offers long-term investment options to Sections.
     
  3. The goal is to provide professionally managed accounts by pooling funds.
     
  4. Periodic reports are provided to the Section.
