Responsibility and Functions of an IEEE Section Treasurer

1. The Section Treasuer’s Term of Office will be defined in the Section By-laws.
    
2. Typically begins on January 1 and ends on December 31 each year.
    
3. However, the Section Treasurer must file the L-50 Annual Report for his term of office by the filing deadline in February of the following year.
    
4. The Treasurer retains his office until the successor Treasurer is elected and takes office.
