Responsibility and Functions of an IEEE Section Treasurer

1. Timely and accurate preparation of the L-50 report is an important responsibility.
2. The task will be greatly simplified if the Section’s accounting records are organized in a way that is compatible with the requirements of the L-50.
3. An electronic version of L-50 report in Excel 97 format may be downloaded from: http://www.ieee.org/organizations/rab/scs/L50/L-50forms_instruc.html
4. Region 3 has an Excel spreadsheet that provides for a Sections accounting and that will automatically generate most of the information for the L-50 report. [Downloadable copy of an empty Section record in EXCEL format "Blank97.xls".]
