On Schedule I, Section E, Line E-1 (worksheet cell H132) enter the "Cash on Hand at Beginning of Year". This must agree with your Sections report of last year for "Cash on Hand at End of Year".
All other cash transaction information on Schedule I is automatically calculated from the previous worksheet entries. See previous discussion for accrual amounts,
The Treasurer should monitor the built in verification system by comparing the information in Section E, Line E-2, Cash on Hand at End of Year (worksheet cell 134) with the information in cell H 139 which shows the sum of the Sections cash accounts. If the Treasurer will monitor this pair of cells after each work session of posting transactions, you will be able to detect errors in the posting work after each posting session rather than discovering at the end of the year that there is a discrepancy that might require some serious detective work to find. These two cells should always be in agreement during the whole year of accounting work.
