Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD)

About IEEE GOLD. IEEE GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade ) is a peer group among IEEE members formed to help bridge the transition from student to career professional. IEEE GOLD allows members to connect with their peers to share experiences, network, and enhance career development. The Northwest Florida IEEE GOLD Chapter will provide a collaborative network for recent engineering graduates residing in the NWF area.

Who is a GOLD member? If you are an IEEE Member who has received your first professional degree within the last ten years, you are automatically part of IEEE GOLD.

Goals of the Northwest Florida GOLD Affinity Group:

  • Address the needs of GOLD members and highlight the benefits of active IEEE participation
  • Establish a mentorship program between GOLD members and senior engineers
  • Encourage GOLD member participation in section meetings and planned activities
  • Form a liaison between the NWF IEEE section and the student chapters in Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach

General information about the IEEE GOLD program can be found at http://www.ieee.org/organizations/rab/gold/
