IEEE Orlando Section Executive Committee Meeting

Date: Tuesday, December 10, 2013

Time: 6:30 - 7:00 pm - Social and Dinner; 7:00 - 8:00 pm Executive Committee Meeting

Place: Red Lobster at 3552 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL, 32803

Directions: In Herndon Plaza just east of Maguire Blvd. This is the shopping center across Colonial Drive from Fashion Square.

Cost: Meeting attendance is free to all IEEE members and Non-IEEE members. Dinner (appetizer, main course, non-alcoholic beverages) covered by the IEEE up to $15/person to all who RSVP by midnight on December 8th. The room is limited to 25 people so your RSVP is critical and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nominees for 2014 Section Officers

The Orlando Section elects officers for a term of one year beginning January 1st. This year's Nomination Committee formed by Dr. Xun Gong (xun.gong@ucf.edu), Dr. Donghui Wu (donghui.wu@ieee.org), and Mr. Joe Juisai (joe@juisai.name) presented the following nominees at the ExCom meeting who were contacted and are willing to serve if elected:

2013 IEEE Orlando Section Annual Election

Welcome to the 2013 IEEE Orlando Section Annual Election! The Nomination Committee wants to take this opportunity to personally express its sincere appreciation for you being an IEEE member! Our duty and responsibility is to ensure that your voting rights are protected and that you are confident that your vote is accurately cast and tabulated.

This year we will utilize the vTools.Voting system for our elections:

• Sign-in using your IEEE Web Account at https://voting.vtools.ieee.org/
• Click where it says “Click here to vote on a ballot”
• Select the 2013 Orlando Section Annual Election Ballot
• Click “Vote” under the column “Action” and follow the instructions

Please select one candidate for each position. The candidates are:

The last A&A Review Panel meeting was held on 19 October in Santiago Chile. . The next IEEE Senior Member Review Panel Meeting will be held on 23 November in New Brunswick, NJ, USA.
