Dale Carnegie Workshop
"Building Profitable Relationships"
Palm Beach Section presents a one evening nontechnical event to bring the benefits of Dale Carnegie training to the members of the Palm Beach section. Whether you are employed in engineering, are a recent graduate or are in school now, this workshop will instill new skills that can enhance your current employment and reinforce existing abilities.
You will learn to:
  • make an effective first impression
  • use and remember people's names
  • connect with people at networking meetings
  • work the room effectively
  • be a good listener

REGION 3 SENIOR MEMBER CONTEST
IEEE Region 3 has announced a contest for the 41 sections of the Southeast and Jamaica. This is to provide incentive for each section to elevate members to Senior grade. The section that has the most upgrades will receive $100. The Section that gets the most new Senior Members approved (as a percentage of their Section Member count not including Students) will win $100. Please consider forwarding

IEEE SECTIONS CONGRESS 2005-CALL FOR SPEAKERS
IEEE Sections Congress 2005 is a triennial gathering of Section leadership sponsored by the Regional Activities Board. An event which includes four days of working sessions and networking, Sections Congress (SC) involves hundreds of delegates from all ten Regions. At Congress they learn how to utilize the resources of the IEEE to maximize their effectiveness as IEEE volunteer leaders.
