Shuttle Services and Event Transportation

The conference will be providing shuttle bus services between the DoubleTree Hotel and the various conference venues.

Each shuttle bus will have a placard in the windshield to identify it to IEEE attendees.

The shuttle service will begin each day at 6:45 am, except for Sunday, May 9, which will begin at 12:00 noon. Attendees to the author/presenter breakfast and the first-time attendee breakfast will be dropped off first at the FSU Golf Club. The shuttle service will then take attendees to the College of Engineering or to the CAPS Building on the appropriate days.

After 9:00 am, the shuttle service will run as needed, with no more than a 15 minute wait.

At lunch time, 11:45 am to 1:00 pm, the shuttle service will be available to provide transportation to the restarant at the FSU Golf Club, the hotel, and some of the eateries on Pensicola Avenue.

During the afternoon the shuttle service will be available for the technical tours on Monday. Otherwise, they will be running as needed in like fashion to the mid morning schedule.

In the evenings, the shuttle buses will provide volume-service rides back to the DoubleTree Hotel starting at 4:45 pm. Buses will run until all events at Innovation Park have concluded.

On Sunday evening, the shuttle buses will loop between the DoubleTree hotel and the Challenger Learning Center, host of the welcome reception, starting 15 minute prior to the event, and running until the event closes.

On Tuesday evening, 56-passenger motor coaches will take the conference attendees to Wakulla Springs State Park starting at 4:45 pm. One motor coach will leave from the DoubleTree and another motor coach will leave from Innovation Park. There is no need to rush from the conference venue back to the hotel unless you need to. At the end of the evening, both motor coaches will first return to the DoubleTree Hotel and then to the CAPS Building at Innovation Park for those who have parked there.
