Roy Leventhal will present a review of semiconductor models as applied to simulation of high-speed circuits to design for signal integrity and EMI control. The main modeling focus will be on the IBIS (Input/Output Buffer Information Specification) model. In addition to technical descriptions, the discussion will cover some issues of EDA tools, computational electromagnetics methodologies, model accuracy, design process flow and model availability

Roy Leventhal

Roy has spent 45 years in electronics design at large OEMs. He holds a BSEE/MSEE from Illinois Institute of Technology, plus additional graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is currently involved in consulting and training in high-speed circuit design and related subjects
