Ray D. Micham, AIA, LEED AP

Ray is a 1991 Architectural Graduate of the University of Cincinnati and has been with The Collaborative for 15 years.  In 2004, he became TCIÕs first LEED accredited professional and chaired TCIÕs newly-formed Sustainability Committee.  In 2005/06 he led the design team for the Edison Community CollegeÕs LEED-certified Regional Centers for Excellence project which has received local, state and national design awards for its unique approach to energy and the environment.  Since then, Ray has helped to plan numerous Green projects including the $105,000,000 Lucas County Multi-purpose Arena in downtown Toledo scheduled to open October of this year.

 

In addition to his project involvements, Ray is currently a member of the Executive Committee of AIA Toledo and is a founding member of both the AIA Ohio Committee on the Environment and the Lake Erie Western Alliance for Sustainability (LEWAS).  He speaks regularly on the subjects of architecture and environmental responsibility.
