Dear Roger and Jerry,

This letter lives on in our Section web site¹ and in it I am expressing our heartfelt appreciation for your hosting of our October 6^th West Michigan Section tour of the Ludington Pumped Storage Facility. This appreciation comes from not only from myself but also from many others who have expressed gratitude for the privilege of being your guests. I have composed a thumbnail album from the pictures I took². Thanks to you both for I shall be repeatedly referring to it as as an example of what our Section has to offer as a benefit of professional networking.

Jerry's breadth and depth of technical presentation was well received by us "electricals." Your logistical coordination was seamlessly smooth. You both made us feel that Consumers Energy was welcoming into their midst a special audience of peers. In addition to our industrial members, we had college faculty and students and some family members participating.

It is particularly poignant that, our tour occurring in the aftermath of 911, we were able to weave a thread of our professional and civic lives through both of you and a major infrastructure facility from which we all benefit. Bless you, the employees of Consumers Energy and our fighting men and women throughout the world.
