IEEE WEST MI SECTION to tour Consumers Power Co Campbell Plant on Saturday October 18th.

The third annual IEEE WMS fall "color tour meeting" is scheduled for Saturday October 18th.Again Consumers Energy will be our host as they were for the Ludington Pump Storage and Muskegon Cobb plant tours the past two years. This time it's the huge coal fired Campbell plant complex, also called the Port Sheldon plant, located on the scenic Lakeshore Drive midway between Holland and Grand Haven. We meet at 10 AM at the main gate to Campbell for the tour which will run till noon. Afterwards we are all going to lunch at a nearby restaurant on Pigeon Lake connected to Lake MI. (The section has been known to buy for everyone at previous color tour meetings.). If planning to attend please call or E-mail Dr. Ron Fredricks, past Section Chair, at 616-791-9134 in Grand Rapids or Ronfredricks3@comcast.net with your name and those in your party by the Thursday before the meeting.
