overview of motor design and the manufacturing process, a tour of the
modification plant and discussion of the modification process, and a tour of
the testing lab and discussion of the testing process. IEEE to Match US $50,000 Donations to IEEE IEEE
members and friends have responded with generosity and compassion to the
devastating earthquake by donating to the
IEEE Haiti Engineering Educational and Professional Development Rebuilding
Fund. As of 12 February, more than US$50,700, through 472 gifts
from 57 countries, was generated. IEEE will match dollar for the dollar
the first US$50,000 in contributions, doubling the impact of the Fund.
The Haiti Fund has generated 328 new donors to the IEEE Foundation and raised
awareness of its donate online option. Donate

for a grant. Science & Art at the This exhibit looks at how science and art work together to
inspire innovative creations that enhance our lives and open our minds. Your
visitors will meet five scientists who have used both science and art in
their work, and learn what inspires them. There will also be plenty of
opportunities to experience science and art firsthand with several hands-on
