Cabled PCI Express - Implementation Considerations
This presentation gives a short technical overview of the recently
released cabled PCI Express specification and will discuss practical
implementations of Cabled PCI Express and will make recommendations to
system implementers on techniques to maximize interoperability.
About the Speaker
Lee Mohrmann, principal hardware engineer with National Instruments.
Lee is a principal hardware engineer with National Instruments. He is
currently working on signal integrity and high-speed systems design
focusing on instrument controllers and backplanes. Lee is also an active
member of the PCI-SIG and he recently gave a talk on cabled PCI-express
at their conference. Previously, Lee held signal integrity and systems
engineering positions at Dell, Inc developing server, desktop, and
notebook systems. Lee has a BSEE from Texas A&M University.
