Kamen was in town in September as the recipient of the 4th Palmaz Award. His
history as a serial innovator in medical devices is well known. What may not be
as well known is his FIRST program, which is a global program to inspire
interest in technology by getting students building and competing with robots.
San Antonio's Senior Mentor for FIRST is Mike Henry and he will be
describing the program, it's inception and it's results, which are frankly
amazing.
