Ground Transportation Info

The Hyatt Regency Long Beach does not provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the area airports. Ground transportation options include the following:

LAX: Los Angeles International Airport, the closest major airport

Super Shuttle is our preferred shuttle company, which operates on a 24-hour basis. The cost to and from LAX is currently $15, and you can book shuttle reservations in advance by calling their toll-free number, 800-862-7771 or visit their web site at www.SuperShuttle.com. Shuttle service from LAX to Hyatt Regency Long Beach can also be arranged at the baggage claim area by simply picking up the phone marked "Super Shuttle", and a van will be dispatched. Depending on the number of passengers in the van and traffic, it will take approximately 20 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes to travel to our hotel.

Super Shuttle to and from John Wayne Airport is $35 for the first person and $9 for each additional person, up to 5 passengers. You can book shuttle reservations in advance by calling Super Shuttle Orange County at 714-517-6600. Shuttle service can also be arranged at the baggage claim area by simply picking up the phone marked "Super Shuttle", and a van will be dispatched. The hotel is located approximately 30 miles from John Wayne Airport and travel time can range from 45 minutes to over an hour depending on traffic. As this is a shared ride program, the shuttles can make up to 2 additional stops.

Return trips to either airport on Super Shuttle can be arranged through our Guest Service staff up to 3 hours prior to your flight time.

Taxis: Approximate prices between listed airport and the Hyatt Regency Long Beach are listed in the table. Yellow Cab Company, a local cab service, has established a "flat rate" of $40 to LAX from our hotel.

Limousine service is also another option for transportation between the airports and Hyatt Regency Long Beach. You will find that their fares are considerably higher than a taxi or Super Shuttle, but do provide very comfortable, door to door service.
