The Metro Los Angeles Section of the IEEE includes the Los Angeles & San Gabriel area. It organizes technical, educational and scientific meetings, which are designed to provide professional benefits to its members while contributing towards the progress in the field. Meetings organized by the Section are designed to be of technical & general interest to the members. In addition, Metro is actively involved with members careers and continues to organize Family Day events, such as "The Role of IEEE in Our Careers". Interested IEEE members are invited to become active in the Section and Chapter organizations.
