Upcoming Events

If you didn't attend the January 29 dinner meeting at Bootleggers Bistro, you missed a great meeting. We had nearly 50 members and spouses in attendance, our best showing in a long time.

The main purpose of the meeting was to introduce the Las Vegas Section officers for 2010, and to discuss future technical meetings. The main questions related to the time and location of the meetings, and the technical topics of interest. Since there is no location that is convenient to all, the general concensus was to have the meetings in different locations throughout the year. We also decided to take a survey on the other questions.

In order to increase participation in IEEE activities, we would appreciate your response to the following questions:

1. Would you prefer to have a luncheon meeting or an evening meeting?

2. If the meetings were in the evenings, would you prefer to have them at 6:00 pm, and include dinner, or at 7:00 pm without dinner.

3. How much would you be willing to spend for a lunch or a dinner at our meetings?

4. What topics would you be interested in seeing a presentation of at our meetings?

5. Would you be willing to give a presentation? If so, on what topic?

6. Do you know of a good location in your area for a meeting?

7. Do you have any comments or suggestions for our Section?

Please send your responses to Joe Sottek at Joe.Sottek@hdrinc.com
