Welcome to the IEEE GOLD of Phoenix, Arizona!

The IEEE Graduates of Last Decade (GOLD) is a peer group within the IEEE membership formed to bridge the transition from student to career professional. We hold meetings discussing a myriad of topics, pertaining to engineering in the diverse assortment of subjects under the various IEEE Societies' focuses as well as general career development and other topics of general interest. We also hold social outings for our members for casual socialization and networking. Please check this page for upcoming meetings and events.

2010 IEEE Day

The first-ever IEEE Day took place around the world on October 7 and 8 to commemorate the accomplishments of IEEE members around the world. IEEE GOLD teamed up with the ASU IEEE Student Branch to celebrate IEEE Day at Gordon Biersch in Tempe, and there was also cake. Photos from the event are now in the photo gallery!

2010 Phoenix Section Banquet Photos

The 2010 IEEE Phoenix Section Banquet was held at the Airport Hilton in February. It featured a keynote presentation on thin-film solar cells that energized the crowd PA-DUM-TISH and Mike Dinezza was awarded for his outstanding contributions, but was in LA stalking celebrities.
