Shirin Tabatabai is a member of the IEEE and has been actively serving as a volunteer on the IEEE-PES, SF Chapter ADCOM for the past four years. Last year Ms. Tabatabai served as Vice Chair.

Ms. Tabatabai currently works in the Operations group at Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Supervising Power Systems Engineer. Prior to her employment with PG&E, she worked with the California Department of Water Resources. Ms. Tabatabai graduated from California Sacramento State University with a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering in December 2001 and an M.S. in Power Engineering in May 2005.
