Jon Eric Thalman has been a member of the IEEE for 12 years. He has been actively serving as a volunteer on the IEEE-PES, SF Chapter ADCOM for the past two years and last year served as Treasurer.

Mr. Thalman currently works as a Supervising Transmission Planning Engineer for Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Previous to PG&E he worked with TRW. Mr. Thalman graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1994 and received a Masters of Engineering Degree from Rensselaer in 1995. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
