IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section: Home

About IEEE-SCV:

The Santa Clara Valley (SCV) Section promotes the aims and objectives of the IEEE as stated in the IEEE Constitution and Bylaws. The Section concerns itself with all IEEE affairs taking place within the area prescribed by the IEEE as the territory of the SCV Section that geographically takes in all the peninsula cities south of Highway 92, plus the counties of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz. The SCV, more popularly known as Silicon Valley, is the largest IEEE Section in the world in terms of membership as well as active chapters.

ExCom Meeting:

Monthly Section ExCom meeting except for summer break (July & August) is held at 6:00pm on the 1st Wednesday of the month in the boardroom at Cogswell Polytechnical College.

IEEE members in SCV Section who meet qualifications for IEEE Senior Membership and would like to be nominated for Senior Member promotion are encouraged to apply immediately!

The talk "Setting up and Using a ListServ Dlist" was a demonstration, and can be downloaded (along with the ListServ manuals and the full demonstration) as a 15MB ZIP file to use in understanding how to start, maintain, and enlarge a Chapter ListServ. After unpacking the ZIP archive, run the "start.html" file.
