1. Assign a chapter's webmaster who is responsible for the site
   
2. Report chapter webmaster's name to section SCV
   
3. Request a SCV sub website account for your chapter
   a. Go to http://ewh.ieee.org/ewh/
   b. Point to "Requests" on the top tool bar and click "Hosting Account" on the pull-down menu,
   or simply click the link "Register Now!" at the bottom of the EWH home page
   
   
   
   
4. Fill out Entity Web Hosting Account Registration
   a. Enter Name and IEEE member number
   b. For Organization Unit Type, select "Chapter"
   c. For Organization Name, enter [Your_Chapter_name]
   d. Enter Day phone and Email address
   
   
   
   
5. Once done, a confirmation is displayed
   
6. When approved, IEEE headquarter emails you the new username and password for your chapter. These are necessary for uploading your future web files.
7. Using a text editor such as notepad or a freeware HTML editor such as AlleyCode to generate a chapter home page (you can also use the IEEE EWH templates instead): index.html (on your own computer)
8. Using an ftp client software such as FileZilla to upload the home page and data to EWH server:
   ftp: ewh.ieee.org
   username: [your newly assigned chapter's username]
   password: [your newly assigned chapter's password]
9. Pilot run your website
10. Inform SCV webmaster of linking your website from the section's site. Your URL will look like this:
    http://ewh.ieee.org/r6/scv/[your_chapter_name] or a shortcut URL:
    http://www.ieee.org/scv/[your_chapter_name]
    Optional: you may want to communicate to SCV webmaster of your new username and password for future web help.
