Abstract
This talk will focus on all design aspects of creating SMT MMICs 45 GHz and beyond. The talk will talk about fabrication techniques, simulation and measurement techniques, and very high-frequency packaging.
Biography
Henrik Morkner is an R&D Manager in charge of microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuit design at Avago Technologies Wireless Semiconductor Division located in San Jose, California. He has been with the company 25 years and a design manager for 15 years. He has extensive experience in design through production release of high volume RF, microwave, millimeter-wave and fiber-optic semiconductor components. He has published over 40 papers at major conferences and is named in six patents for microwave components. The last six years he has focused on high speed wireless data components from 2.4 GHz to 45 GHz for point-to-point communication links. Henrik has attended both San Jose State University and Stanford University in California and received BSEE (1984) and MSEE (1989) in electrical engineering.
