MTT-SCV Short Course 2009 presents RF and microwave design challenges in wireless transceivers.
Abstract
The focus of the 2009 IEEE MTT SCV short course held at the SLAC Auditorium will be the design and implementation challenges of WiFi, WiMAX, and Bluetooth transceivers. The short course is design oriented and divided into three parts:
•Wireless standards and their translation into the architecture, budget, and functional-block specification
•Transceiver building block specifications and design
•Automatic design verification and test of complex RF and mixed-signal blocks and systems
Our guest speakers are prominent leaders from academia and industry who will be providing their own practical experience and guidance on the design challenges. This promises to be an exciting short course for all engineers and technologists interested in learning more about the wireless revolution and how it is being implemented.
