| Abstract
|
With the advent of More Electric Aircrafts (MAE), aerospace industry is seeing substantially increased use of power electronics converters in many modern aircrafts. Unlike many terrestrial based applications, high conversion efficiency, low mass and volume are some basic requirements for aerospace applications. Therefore in these applications, power conversion at significantly higher but constant frequency with loss-less switching is essential.
This seminar will present latest state-of-the-art advances in soft-switching and resonant switching techniques and introduce a new technique that combines the advantages of both resonant and soft-switching techniques. |
