Transportation

Heathrow and Gatwick are the world's busiest international airports and with Stansted airport, provide services to London from most world destinations.

From Heathrow, the most convenient route into Central London is by the Heathrow Express, a non stop train service leaving every 15 minutes with a journey time of 15 minutes to Paddington railway station for a single fare of around £12. Change to one of the underground lines for your specific hotel destination.
You may optionally take the Piccadilly Line (Underground) which costs much less, but the journey time is around 55 minutes to central London.

From Gatwick, a train to Victoria Station costs around £10 (Gatwick Express) and takes 30 minutes. From Victoria, the Circle Line will take you to Edgware Road Underground station.

From Stansted a half-hourly train service to Liverpool Street station costs from £12 one-way. From there, a Circle or Hammersmith & City Line train will take you to Edgware Road underground station.

Taxi fares from Heathrow and Gatwick are expensive and the costs need checking before leaving. A typical fare from Heathrow might be £40 for up to 4 passengers. From Gatwick, the fare may be £60 for up to 4 passengers.
