The Conference The Topics
Memory technology is a key element in computer design for system performance and assurance of supply. Today's processor integration levels and technical advances require higher performance memories to eliminate the gap between processor demands and memories subsystem throughput.

This presentation will focus on DRAM and flash memories. It will cover DRAM technology from its beginning, transformation through the years, future trends and process technology. Flash memory will also be discussed.   The conference will address the issue of managing memory technologies for successful and reliable product implementation.

Brief presentation of the different memory technologies
Detail presentation of DRAM (technology trends on density, speed and interface protocol).
Industry standard modules
New technologies on DRAM (i.e. DDR and DDR II and how it compares to SDRAM)
Process technology
Qualification process
Reliability and quality
Flash Technology and applications.
